Option 2: The only regular direct flight from London to Santorini is operated by Easyjet (http://www.easyjet.com/en).
There are various flights to Santorini. We recommend checking on Sky Scanner (http://www.skyscanner.net), Expedia (http://www.expedia.com) flight search and other flight search engines for the cheapest option. Please also note, that charter direct flights may also be available, these will come up on the search websites mentioned above.
For those of you who will be flying from other countries other than the UK please check flights with the above websites as most other countries do not have direct flights.
Ferries and Boats
There are a number of ferries departing from Athens (Piraeus Port) and other Greek Islands to Santorini.

Visa
For those of you who do NOT hold an EU passport make sure you check for necessary Visa's to Greece.
